Schenectady County Recycles is a partnership between Schenectady County and Cornell Cooperative Extension to deliver services to the residents of Schenectady County.
This program’s mission is to empower our neighbors with the knowledge to manage materials in the most environmentally sustainable way while fostering community and increasing resiliency to environmental, economic, and public health risks.
We do this through:
Classes on various sustainability topics
Extended courses: Master Composter/Recycler & Cornell Climate Stewards
Consultations with local schools, businesses, organizations
and Tabling at Community Events
