EFNEP teaches income eligible families and youth simple ways to improve their health such as:

  • Eating more vegetables and fruits.
  • Drinking fewer sweetened beverages.
  • Maintaining a healthy weight.
  • Being physically active.

Families working to make ends meet. Families participating in:

  • SNAP
  • WIC
  • Medicaid
  • Head Start
  • Free or reduced price school lunches

Breastfeeding

EFNEP is pleased to announce a new class to help soon to be moms in their breastfeeding journey. The nine week course is open to mom's in Schenectady County. Each week you will participate in a one-hour class that covers a variety of information specific to breastfeeding and nutrition. 



Healthy Cents

Learn how to save money and eat healthy.  Whether you are at the store, grabbing a quick bite, or eating dinner we can help you make healthy cents.

Join us for a series of 6 to 8 interactive, supportive classes.
