
On March 18,2026, the Capital Region Youth Climate Summit will empower high-school aged youth to become climate leaders, now and in their future careers. The Summit will be held at SUNY Schenectady.
Youth will:
Teams of students will design Climate Action Plans to make positive change specific to their individual schools and communities.
Students will leave with a sense that they have been heard, with greater hope for the future and will feel connected to a wider community that shares their values and concerns.
This event will be structured following the outstanding model established by the Wild Center and described in their Youth Climate Summit Toolkit.
