Giving Tuesday logo for annual fundraiser.

GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of radical generosity. GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Since then, it has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.

Join the movement and give – each Tuesday and every day – whether it’s some of your time, a donation, or the power of your voice in your local community.

Backed by Cornell University-based research, Cornell Cooperative Extension continues to bring educational programming to you based on your needs. Our priorities are determined by people like you. Our volunteer board of directors and program advisory committees represent a diverse group of individuals who in turn represent our area as a whole. The result is a broad spectrum of educational programs for the residents of the Capital Region. Cornell Cooperative Extension also works collaboratively with all levels of government and community organizations, schools, and businesses.

The Cornell Cooperative Extension network brings you the expertise of locally-based extension educators, volunteers, and other experts through programs such as:

  • Master Gardeners
  • Natural Resources
  • 4-H Youth Development
  • Nutrition Education
  • Parenting Programs
  • Energy and Finance Management

This year, the Cornell Cooperative Extension Associations of Albany, Rensselaer, Schenectady, and Warren Counties are joining together in a year-end campaign to increase awareness of and raise crucial funds for Cornell Cooperative Extension. We invite you to click on your county’s individual icon on the left side of this page to donate to your local CCE office on Giving Tuesday or any time before the end of the year.

Thank You! We appreciate your support.
